Relax in San Francisco

If you are planning on visiting San Francisco, you may be lost for choice when it comes to choosing a hotel as there are so many great ones to choose from. You have the grand luxury hotels such as the Fairmont, which is one of the best hotels in the city, through to budget hotels and you have to decide carefully which area you want to be in.

As you may or may not know, San Francisco is a city of hills and there is simply no escaping them. If you have limited mobility then you may well want to consider a hotel right on the front as most hotels are to be found up a steep stretch of hill.

Of course, you have the famous San Francisco trams which can take you up and down, but they too require certain mobility just to battle your way on to them and they are often very crowded.

One tip if you are visiting San Francisco (and this is only for the very mobile!) is to take a segway tour of the city.

It takes some nerve, I must admit, as they are fiddly things to get to grips with but they are incredibly great fun and are a perfect way to see the city if you don't mind falling off once or twice!
