Wherever you choose to travel there is bound to be a whole range of options, some of which you may never even have thought of before and if you are going to a new country on holiday, you might consider the different options – you never know you might experience something totally different!

Whether you are looking for places to stay in Dublin, Vancouver or Bangkok, a hotel is always the most popular option as you can find them to suit all budgets and they offer many facilities that other accommodation options do not have.

Apartments are also very popular as they offer flexibility to the traveller and also work out as a well priced option if you are travelling in a group.

Lesser well known options are hostels, which have come a long way since we back-packed round the world in the eighties. Many now offer clean and comfortable budget rooms which are a real alternative to a hotel.

Then there are the really fun type of budget accommodation such as caravan and camping parks, where you can pitch your own tent, take your own caravan, or stay in caravans or wooden lodges provided by the owners.

Whatever you choose, try not to plum for what you usually go for, life is an adventure and if you are visiting a different city try something new.
